Private sessions for individuals and couples exploring relational growth, contemplative practice, and the integration of awakening into everyday life.

“Yoga is Skill in Action”

— Chapter 2, Verse 50 of the Bhagavad Gita

Insight matters. But insight alone does not necessarily change the way we relate.

You can understand your attachment patterns, recognize your childhood conditioning, have profound experiences in meditation, attend retreats, explore psychedelics, or encounter states of spiritual awakening—and still find yourself repeating familiar patterns when intimacy, fear, conflict, or vulnerability enters the room.

At some point, what we understand has to become something we can practice.

Private Relationship Yoga sessions create a space for exactly that.

Together, we can slow down the living patterns of relationship and examine them as they happen: how you respond to discomfort, how you communicate what you need, where you become defensive, how assumptions form, what happens when you feel rejected or misunderstood, and which protective strategies appear when connection feels uncertain.

Rather than only talking about relationship, we can practice new ways of relating.

Depending on what you are exploring, sessions may include:

  • mindful dialogue and communication practice;

  • guided relational exercises and role-play;

  • contemplative and embodied awareness;

  • reflection on attachment and learned relational patterns;

  • working with difficult emotions and protective strategies;

  • inquiry into beliefs, identity, shadow, and ego development;

  • meditation, breath, and other yogic practices;

  • exploring how contemplative insight can become lived behavior.

I think of myself less as someone who possesses the answers to your life and more as a facilitator and practice partner—someone who can help you notice what is happening, offer reflection, introduce useful frameworks, and create opportunities to respond differently.

Relationship Yoga is not psychotherapy, and it does not attempt to replace appropriate mental-health or medical care. Its focus is contemplative education, relational practice, self-inquiry, and integration.

We can also explore the more subtle dimensions of contemplative experience. Yogic and tantric traditions have developed rich frameworks for understanding breath, embodiment, attention, the heart, and what they describe as subtle energy. We can work experientially with these practices without requiring you to adopt a particular metaphysical explanation for what you experience.

The larger principle is simple:

Awakening is not the end of development.

A mature spiritual life may also ask us to examine our unresolved patterns, develop greater emotional and relational capacity, participate more fully in the world, and learn to embody what we have glimpsed in moments of clarity.

Or, in the language that has influenced Relationship Yoga: wake up, grow up, clean up, show up, and open up.

Private sessions offer a place to practice that integration—so that greater awareness can become greater skill in the relationships and situations that actually make up your life.

Bring what you are struggling with. Bring what you are becoming. We’ll work with what is here.
