How can this improve my health and my relationships?

It doesn’t matter if you’re currently “in a relationship” or single. Living alone or living with friends or family. We are always in relationship with something or someone. We are often in relationship with our own thoughts for example—receiving them, believing them as true, and having feelings about them. Think about it: your attention is possibly your rarest and most precious gift. How have you disposed of it today? What qualities have you brought into your moments of attending to another today? Were you really present with them? Were you empathizing or were you unfeeling in your regard? There is a deep and profound art to regard. A kind of love-craft that everyone is in a process of improving. It’s the premise the entire cosmos is organized around. It’s the only thing your Soul cares about. It’s the whole point of human incarnation and your ability to align your personal mission with the universal one has a profound impact on your healing. If you haven’t yet had a heart awakening substantial enough to prove that to you, you’re in store to receive the best kept secret of all time. Consider this site your heart-awakening studio. Welcome home.

  • Life gives us suffering so that eventually we learn how not to suffer. It is constantly helping us align with Truth, Wisdom, Love, and Universal Law, removing a little more of our ignorance with every reckoning. We are all on the path of removing ignorance, becoming more conscious of what we are and why we are here on planet earth. Yoga is a powerful way of accelerating that evolutionary process if practiced as it was for almost ten thousand years before postural yoga was invented. Truth removes suffering and the only way to get to Truth is Transcendence. We have to perceive reality without the limitations of the ego to get to Truth and daily Yogic sadhana—meditation, breathwork, postures, and energy mastery—is a sure path to removing suffering from your life. Don’t mistake postural yoga for Yoga. Come learn what yoga has meant for ancient civilizations since before Christ walked the earth.

  • Are your relationships evolutionary? Are they enabled in a way that intentionally supports each other’s spiritual and psychological growth? Do you have regular rituals that allow for vulnerable truth-telling and non-reactivity? There are ways to build intentional relationships that serve as spiritual partnerships which will take one much further than practicing spiritual growth alone shall. This site offers ideas of structure and rituals that you can build into your close relationships today that will lead to growth and closeness beyond what classical friendships typically offer.

  • Are you living life on purpose? A deep study of the metaphysical structure of reality will reveal that our choices regarding the quality of loving regard that we bring into any moment of relating is at the core of the “why” of reality. Study the body of Near Death Experiencers (NDE) and the messages they’ve been sent back to earth to communicate and you may find yourself convinced.

Evolving our views on what is beautiful, stretching how far kindness can go, how present we can attend to any moment, how deep our consciousness is in our body-wisdom, how much understanding about someone’s situation we can invest in. These are some of ways in which we improve our love-craft and our spiritual practice aught to align with Universal Purpose if we are to find sustaining happiness. This Yoga is for that.

  • If you have been fortunate enough to encounter the deeper teachings of Yogic masters such as Patanjali, you may have learned through traditional dualistic Samkhya philosophy that the meaning of life is to realize you are God pretending to be human. True, but regarding the meaning of life, this is an absurd position which places Love outside of the realm of awakening and importance. Of course we are God, but realizing that isn’t the meaning of life. It is just a side-quest. An aspect of realizing the Truth. Valuable. Important. But clearly not the whole game.

This school rejects traditional Yogic Samkhya philosophy. We subscribe to the supremely non-dual Tantrik Trikism (3-fold reality), which represents the basic triad: subject, object, relationship. Awakening to the fact that you are consciousness itself is just level 1 of the game. Relational awakening—the nature of the qualities of the awakened heart—is the enlightenment outcome Relationship Yoga seeks to deliver within this lifetime.
